Bowman Island Charters (NIPIGON, ONTARIO)

Bowman island is located just off the south shore of St. Ignace Island, on the north shore of Lake Superior. The only access to the lodge is by water or air. A 30 foot water taxi and a 45 foot trawler are licensed by the Department of transport to carry between eight and 10 passengers to the island. The wilderness Lodge is a three-season retreat that has four bedrooms with bunks and twin beds for your comfort. There is a large common room open to the kitchen complete with fireplace. There is a vista view to the south and west providing a panoramic view of wildlife, scenery and spectacular sunsets. World-class fishing for coaster Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout and Pike are within a very short distance of the lodge.

Lake Superior offers excellent fishing for Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Salmon and Speckled Trout. The season will dictate the species most often caught. Most anglers come to catch the huge coaster Brook Trout.
