One of the best kept secrets in Northern Ontario is Lake Nipigon. This massive body of water has no cottages on it and is preserved as a park. It is also home to GIANT northern pike and coaster brook trout. You can also catch lake trout and so many walleye, it is crazy. Ian & Dave Brennen have a quaint outpost camp that close to Lake Nipigon in the Black Sturgeon area. This is the ONLY one in this part of the lake which is why the fishing is so good. For fly fishers you can catch multiple pike in the 20lb+ size every day. They supply the ATV transportation and boats, you bring your own food and sleeping bags. Very affordable and a great fishing adventure for this who want a drive-to location. Located near the town of Nipigon.
