Every season we seem to discover several new flies that are deadly and effective. For Brook Trout on top, the Gurgler, designed by the late Jack Gartside, worked especially well in Labrador this summer. In this picture you can see two Gurglers, the one on the left all chewed up by numerous trout hits and the other brand new. In the background you can see noted author Tom Rosenbauer scouting the waters for good trout lies! Look for this exciting episode on Three Rivers Lodge this February on WFN, PBS and our YouTube Channel.
